Not unlike some of his illustrious colleagues, Janos Solyom is also a conductor. Mainly a disciple of the late Norman Del Mar, he conducts often from the piano in concertos by Bach, Mozart and Beethoven, all the way up to Mendelssohn and Schumann. His symphonic repertoire includes all the major works of the Classical and Romantic period.
